Run Selection Details Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Any%): Very talented run with good commentary, a good start to the marathon. Banjo-Kazooie (100%): Entertaining run, and the call-in from Grant Kirkhope was great, as always. TASBot Block: Does much need to be said? It's TASBot. Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II (Any%): A surprisingly good run that displayed a lot of skill. Definitely worth watching if you skipped over it. Battleblock Theater (Co-op 100%): Fantastic run. One of my personal favorites from this year's AGDQ. Great developer commentary as well as commentary from those at the event, as well as an interesting run of a unique game. Very funny. They Bleed Pixels (Any%): Anyone who has played this game will definitely appreciate this run more. An extremely hard game done very well, also had some very good developer commentary. Escape Goat 2 (Any% Race): Surprisingly great game for speedrunning, to anyone who hasn't watched it. Most of it is explained well, and races are always fun. I Wanna Be The Boshy (100%): One of the best runs this year. Very impressive run of an extremely hard game, and the commentary was top notch. The Legend of Zelda (Any% Race): It's Zelda. It's a race. It was good. Donkey Kong Country 2 (Any% Race): Great race albeit disappointing for one of the runners. Very entertaining and highly skilled run regardless. Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels (Any%): Fantastic run from a previously little known runner, with some of the best commentary this year. A must watch. Super Mario World (Any% Race): A classic for speedrunning, and it's still entertaining as always. Kaizo Mario World (Any%): A very hard game, even for speedrunners, which is very impressive to see played. Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (Ultimate Mode): This game is practically made for speedrunning. Great run to watch, glad it was showcased at AGDQ this year. Tetris Block: I'm sure most people know by now but this was the most surprising block this year with some truly insane skills that will impress anyone. Shovel Knight (Any%): A great game making it's first appearance at AGDQ, and a great run. Insightful developer commentary on how they developed the game with speedrunning in mind. Mega Man (Any% Race): Best of the Mega Man block in my opinion, a great race showing off some cool glitches and completely breaking the game. Track and Field 2000 (100m): One of the most hype moments from AGDQ this year, and it happened off stream. A must watch if you haven't seen it yet. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Any% Race): Fantastic race, as always. SOTN never disappoints. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (Any% Warps Race): Interesting new run of a game we've seen at AGDQ before but this time in a different category. Good race. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (Ray Charles%): Blind run of several levels in the game. Highly skilled run. Batman: Arkham City (Any%): A surprisingly entertaining race, mostly due to the well above average commentary. Well explained and entertaining. Half-Life 2: Episode 2 (Any%): One of the less showcased Half-Life games in speedrunning, shown in an excellent run. Portal (Any% Two Players One Computer): You should be able to tell from the category alone that this was a great run. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Any%): One of the historically less run Zelda games, which has had a lot of development recently. Very entertaining, as most Zelda runs are. Super Mario Sunshine (100%): Although usually overshadowed by Super Mario 64, this is still a great run and definitely worth watching. Goldeneye 007 (Any% Race): A highly skilled game for speedruns, and a very close race. Super Metroid (100% Race): Although this tragically turned into not-a-race, still an impressive run of a classic speedrunning game. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Blindfolded Child Dungeons): One of the most impressive runs this year, playing this game blindfolded would take an insane amount of skill. Also showcases the well ahead of its time sound quality this game had. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (100%): A less seen category for a very popular speedrunning game. While Any% is impressive, it skips so much of this great game, but 100% shows it all.
