As someone who needs game audio and can't play music on top of my game, this Twitch music copyright change wouldn't normally affect me. However, the rather heavy handed approach to this causes even people like me some real issues. The copyright issue, although I obviously don't speak for everyone, I can agree with in the case of someone randomly using in game music just as background music for their Youtube video, purely for the sake of monetization. For cases like that, sure, go ahead and claim that. But in this case, we are doing everything strictly by the books, streaming video game content on a video game streaming site, no music going on in the background, just game audio. And it's still catching us. I can't see how you're protecting rights or whatever when it's being used as intended, within the game. I get that you'd rather be safe than sorry, but there's a way to strike a good balance, and this is crossing the line into the realm of being unreasonable.
