--- RUNESCAPE GUIDE FOR BEGINNING PLAYERS --- QUESTS: Quests are a major part of the game, they give amazing rewards. You can google the name of the quest to find a guide on RuneHQ, which'll guide you through most of it. Most quests will have you go from point A > B > C etc. so it's also wise to get your magic level up to around level 51, so you can utilize most of the available teleports. Questing can be very annoying at times, but is also well worth it. MONEY MAKING: The easiest, most reliable way to earn money in Runescape, is to make use of your available skills. The higher level you are in a skill, the more money there is to be made from it. Except firemaking, fuck firemaking. Some profitable skills are: Runecrafting (nature runes at 44) Cooking (sharks, or anything else as long as the burn rate is low enough) Slayer (especially towards the higher levels, when you unlock wyverns for example.) Hunter Agility (if you do rooftops, and collect the marks of grace) Woodcutting Farming (herbs are necessary for herblore, the skill that makes potions) Thieving Most of the non skilling money makers are collecting resources for skillers to train with. You can do things like pick flax for example, to get around 100k gp/hr. COMBAT: Runescape is very PvM orientated, you'll have to get your 5 combat skills up, Attack, Strenght, Defence, Magic and Ranged, in order to PvM effectively. PvM is some of the most profitable content in game, with one monster, the Corporeal Beast, dropping items that can sell for 850 million gp. PvM is costly though, as you need to pay for food and potions. The Grand Exchange is a square in north-western Varrock, it's a massive automated trading spot and it's awesome. You can use it to buy new skilling supplies, or items that you need for quests. Just ask me about some of the more in depth stuff. In my personal opinion you should focus on questing first, but this depends on the person that you ask.
