Jet Force Gemini: Version Differences (12/26/2014) If you find any differences that are not listed here you can PM them to me. Preferred PM methods: SpeedRunsLive IRC or twitch.tv. Regions Names Specific Names ゾーンX (Zone X) (X is a number 1-4) Auto Saves ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jet Force Gemini auto saves on any region exit as long as a new record has been set. Otherwise it does not save. Star Twins never auto saves the game during play. The game is only saved if the player manually does it on the pause menu. This does not mean it needs to show "NEW RECORD" for the tribals as this is never shown if 0 tribals are saved. As long as you save the same amount as the best (even if the best is 0) with a faster time it will save. On new files all regions have a time of 0 so on first completion the game will always auto save because of the new in-game time. * This allows Jet Force Gemini to skip cutscenes by reseting the console that Star Twins cannot skip by reseting. Cutscenes ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cerulean Take off cutscene is skipped in Jet Force Gemini but played in Star Twins Goldwood Landing cutscene (returning from Gem Quarry) is skipped on Jet Force Gemini but played in Star Twins SS Anubis Landing cutscene (returning from Walkway) is skipped on both Jet Force Gemini and Star Twins. In Star Twins if a level is selected from the Pause Map the cutscene for landing on that level can be skipped by pressing the 'A' or 'Start' button. If you are taken directly to a level from a different level (Pause Map not used) then the cutscene cannot be skipped.
